We started this project in 2008 as PhD students. We have different scientific backgrounds and were at that time carrying out PhD projects in life sciences. We all share a deep interest in the relationships between scientific research and society and a strong motivation for promoting integrity in research.

In addition, we believe that scientific integrity can be promoted through education. Not only should students be aware that a responsible conduct of research is essential for doing good science, they should also develop abilities to detect and deal with scientific misconduct when it arises.
